Which OnMind plan to choose?

From the paper or conventional office to the OnMind experience…
Check which modality you identify with in the moment, choose your “apps”, in short, you make your plan

Understanding that we are talking about business software and a platform that also enables software projects related to management, you find plans to respond to modality, preference or scope, and to grow, without implying company size. Before reviewing natural technical concepts of the matter it is key to understand that the difference is in identifying the approaches of each plan. A plan like Basis only requires USD$ 7.5 per month per unit, with annual payment commitment (x 12 = USD$ 90, plus TAX if apply), so you decrease the use of paper.

  1. Free: For business enthusiasts
  2. Basis: Ideal for solo-entrepreneurs
  3. Nubes: For small businesses
  4. Plus: For expanding businesses
  5. Virtus: Businesses and companies, for server (local or internet)
  6. Optimus: Companies with greater infrastructure

Portfolio for projects

Before any questionnaire it is easy to identify the extremes and that the listing corresponds to an incremental price. For example, if you are a company or institution with more than 30 employees, you will probably apply the Optimus plan, also if they are visionary projects involving masses (or high concurrence). On the other hand if it is the case of a solo entrepreneur you would have at your disposal the Free and Basis plan. If you easily identify your case then we get to the point pretty quickly, however, let’s review some questions.

Law 1819 of 2016 article 187 that modifies article 476 of the Colombian statute, and Law 1943 of 2018 article 10, excludes from taxation the cloud computing service until novelty. Plans: Basis, Nubes, Plus.

Agile questionnaire (4 questions)

  1. Are you a solo entrepreneur?

    A) Yes.
    B) No.
    .

  2. Are you looking for something classic and controlled or do you prefer mobility?

    A) Something classic (controlled by me or my team).
    B) I prefer mobility (via Internet).
    .

  3. In what range of number of employees is your company?

    A) Less than 9 employees.
    B) Between 9 and 20 employees (or users).
    C) From 21 employees (or users).
    .

  4. Are you willing to apply for a 120 hours package of additional services or adaptations?

    A) Yes, I would require additional services or project.
    B) No, what a plan offers may be sufficient.

Evaluate your answers

  1. If your answer to the first question is A choose between the Free and Basis plan. You can use Free to connect with our platform and get an idea of the product, however it does not have the payment applications. The Basis plan also has a payment function for those who like the benefits of affiliate marketing (for referrals). In that case, instead of thinking of offering USD$ 9 to many interested parties, we prefer enthusiasts who are already affiliate customers who value our product so that the recommendation is genuine and a better benefit is obtained.
    .
  2. In the case of the following question, if you have reservations with the technology through the Internet or simply prefer the A, then we recommend you to check the Virtus plan. In fact, is the choice for those who have very specific security requirements. If you have chosen the B, you have the Nubes, Plus and Basis plans, this last one for solo entrepreneurs. If you apply to 3 units in “apps” better check Nubes and Plus plans.
    .
  3. If your answer to the third question is B, then you are on your way to the Plus and Virtus plans. Our recommendation for businesses with projection and innovation or in expansion (through the Internet) is to apply directly to the Plus plan. If your answer was C, Virtus and Optimus may be the choice for you.
    .
  4. Finally, if you identify the need for service packages (answer A of the last one), it is very likely that your choice is between the Plus, Virtus and Optimus plans. Generally, adaptations are made for these plans where the majority is not affected by applying their update. As mentioned above, the Optimus plan would correspond to a larger company, but also to visionary projects involving masses or a segment of the population that interacts directly with the system (subscribers and members with an account or profile), or for OnMind distributors.

Internet-based plan (Cloud) vs Annex plan (Local)

To better understand the difference between an Internet plan (such as: Basis, Clouds, Plus), also known as Cloud Computing, and an annex plan (such as: Virtus and Optimus) that is oriented to some infrastructure of the client (probably local) by means of a user license (of the software), let’s see the following table:

# Internet-based plan (Cloud) Annex plan (Local)
1 Presented as a software service (via Internet) Presented as a software license for rent and is required
2 Requires Internet to operate Does not require Internet to operate (yes for periodic license control)
3 Includes computer resource Requires acquisition of machine (or exclusive designation of one)
4 Includes a specific support on platform Includes a specific support on application (the rest is covered bye the client)
5 Provisioning ready or in short time Requires machine provisioning and implementation (services)
6 Certain internal management is included (e.g. backups) Requires technical management by the client (e.g. backups)
7 May reduce the need for technical human resources Costs for management or resource must be added
8 Communication risk according to Internet provider Communication risk subject to technical resource
9 Prepared for mobility Mobility subject to mechanisms and human resource intervention
10 Data stays in the cloud (via Internet) Data locally or in the cloud (managed by the customer)

In summary, an annex or local plan (such as: Virtus and Optimus) is only charged for the license of use of the software in rental mode (there is an option of a one payment license for one version. updates are charged), while the plans oriented through the Internet (Cloud) are presented as a service with various features and costs that otherwise the customer would have to cover.
