OnMind, “apps” or platform supported projects to turn on ideas
We make “apps” or projects involving business activities, internet (or cloud) and mobile devices. Our platform is modular and multi-purpose (not general), ideas take us to the specific, adapting the platform under micro-projects. We use mainly AWS as well as Vultr and others.
We have our repertory of applications with modular orientation, the ones that best distinguish us are “eCommerce orders”, “attention to requests” and “private web publisher” (for digital documentation or texts), plus other applications to manage your business that you can find in our store according to the plan (e.g. Essential Business Manager, Marketing Funnel).
What can be achieved with OnMind?
Access to micro-projects or projects with a reasonable budget (based on a modular platform). You could, for example, orchestrate your business with a digital experience, manage requests for services or internal procedures, manage documentation and knowledge, integrate modern software, project a custom online store (eCommerce), a micro-portal or landing page, perhaps IP telephony, or think about IoT (devices that connect to our platform via Internet).
To adapt, you can speed up with less. Projects longer than 1 year usually take huge budgets, we look for a benefit in less time, valuing our services. It could be the case of projects by phases, even micro-projects. We mainly use OnMind method.
To have an idea, depending on the nature or requirement of a project and if our platform can be used as a base, a project from zero of 1 year can be reduced to a third, a small one of 6 months to half.
Another way of looking at it would be like this: simple cases that enable operable prototypes for proof of concept without rigour can take until 20 days or 1 month (even less), for a pilot 3 months or less.

About Plus plan, law 1819 of 2016 article 187 that modifies article 476 of the Colombian statute, and Law 1943 of 2018 article 10, excludes from taxation the cloud computing service until novelty.
Understanding that we are talking about business software and a platform that also enables software projects related to management, you find plans to respond to modality, preference or scope, and to grow, without implying company size.
A plan like Plus only requires USD$ 10 per unit per month, with an annual payment commitment applying (for 3 units x 12) a minimum amount of USD$ 360 (plus VAT if applicable). A plan like Virtus requires USD$ 15 per unit per month, with an annual payment commitment applying (for 3 units x 12) a minimum amount of USD$ 540 (plus VAT if applicable). If it is about visionary projects where masses of people are involved or high concurrence, surely the Optimus plan applies, although it can start with the others. In fact, the Virtus plan can be adapted to the cloud by adding respective concept for 4 units plus those needed to increase instances given an initial capacity.
Usually the “app” of attention to requests is used for the purposes of digital forms for internal management. There is a smaller plan than those mentioned if an initial proof of concept of reduced concurrence (different from a pilot) is considered first.
In the plans, the concept of usage units (even “management units” like branches, divisions or points) and “record dimension” are introduced, which simply translates into avoiding counting users, subscribers or devices, giving an appropriate scope, also thinking about digital transformation projects.
The plans include well-defined essential support, being associated services additional and on demand, except in the case of having packages of hours that when thinking about projects would be required. Considering some scenarios, it starts with the concept of starting from a base plan with the freedom to apply to a “premium” support, even for the Optimus plan that includes an initial package of services, which can be extended or customized.
How do you estimate a project?
If we are talking about projects, it is usually convenient to make a diagnosis or a previous study if it is the case. Referring to the Optimus plan, an initial package of services is included and must be evaluated given the size and human resources required, as well as the fees mentioned in the link above. We seek to value our services but with our method it is possible to reduce time which translates into benefit, and the costs per license of our software usually correspond to a smaller budget compared to alternatives in the market.
